Construkt is a practice with twenty years experience in architectural and masterplanning projects around Aotearoa. in taking projects from inception, through Concept and Development Design, Detailed documentation and Contract administration, our process focuses on close collaboration with clients, consultants and communities to ensure considered design outcomes that respond to the specifics of each individual commission.

Priorities of sustainable design and cultural engagement, are formative in our work, with an understanding that acknowledges the increasing complexity of the design and build process requiring continuous emphasis on efficient delivery through 3D cad documentation, BIM and digital visualisation tools.

Building Information Modelling (BIM) is embedded in our work approach to aid the design and delivery of projects. We have a dedicated team of BIM experts that ensure Construkt are up to date with international BIM Standards and methodologies, ensuring we are working effectively and efficiently on our projects, and to coordinate with other consultants. We are currently in the process of modernisation. We are bringing our modelling and exchange practices in line with the internationally recognised standard ISO19650, and actively using Solibri (model federation and interrogation software) to collaborate with stakeholders on low rise apartments.

Visualisation is more than creating attractive images. It is a critical design, communication and decision-making tool that allows clients, shareholders and communities to experience architecture before it is built.

Our in-house visualisation pipeline combines BIM technology, advanced AI workflows and high-end image production to create everything from rapid design studies to ultra-realistic imagery and cinematic animations. By controlling the entire process internally, we can deliver exceptional quality, rapid turnaround times and complete alignment between the design intent and the final visual outcome.
