Approached to refurbish an old scrap metal refinery on Teed Street in Auckland into a high end fashion and retail precinct, Construkt chose to make the most of the gritty heritage site.
The practice restored the original 1920s brick facade and created 12 boutique retail spaces – plus designed two new shops on a vacant lot across the road in a complimentary style. Today some of the best-known names in fashion occupy the site, including World, Zambesi, Moochi and Ruby.
