Construkt Architects developed the masterplan for precincts within Huapai Triangle, Auckland, in collaboration with Cato Bolam. Our work across the development was undertaken for multiple clients, primarily Cabra.

The triangular site adjoins the established Huapai township. Lot testing was central to the masterplanning process: housing layouts were tested on proposed lots to establish block sizes suited to the intended housing types. This informed the neighbourhood layout, connecting the overall urban structure with the practical requirements of individual homes.

Construkt designed the neighbourhood centre and central park as focal points for local services and recreation. These elements form part of a wider network of streets, pedestrian connections and open spaces designed to connect new housing with the surrounding Huapai and Kumeū communities.

Our work also included multiple urban design reports and urban design input to the resource consent process.
