Construkt Architects provided residential masterplanning, an urban design report for resource consent, and residential design guidelines for Aurora, a 35.8-hectare development in Hamilton’s Peacocke growth area.

Prepared for Northview Capital Limited, the masterplan combines low- and medium-density housing with a neighbourhood centre and more than four hectares of open space and reserves. It brings together homes, local amenities, recreation spaces and natural environments within a coordinated neighbourhood layout.

Walking and cycling routes, pedestrian bridges and connections to the wider Peacocke area are planned to support movement through the neighbourhood and access to its amenities.

Developed in 2018, the masterplan has guided staged resource consenting, with the first stage approved in 2019. Residential design guidelines establish expectations for housing quality, and Construkt continues to undertake design reviews as the neighbourhood develops.
