Situated in a prime location along Auckland’s waterfront, this development took an existing single unit site overlooking Hobson Bay and developed a design for four stand-alone houses. Each house has a spacious open plan living, dining and kitchen area that opens directly onto the rear yard. Large floor to ceiling windows allow for sweeping views over Paritai Drive and out towards the central city.

The material palette is robust and low maintenance, yet still preserves an elegance that is fitting for the area. Vertical streamlines in the bush hammered concrete play off the vertical cedar weatherboards and standing seam metal roof.
