Construkt prepared the masterplan and urban design report for this 14.4ha greenfield subdivision north of Jack’s Point, Queenstown. The vision was to create a compact, walkable neighbourhood of 272 dwellings in a high-quality sustainable environment.
The design establishes a clear grid structure with a central linear park linking Woolshed Road to a large western reserve that integrates stormwater management, recreation spaces, and pedestrian/cycle connections. A variety of lot sizes and single-level unit types cater to a diverse community, with design controls ensuring strong street frontages, passive surveillance, and material palettes that respect Queenstown’s landscape character.
Green corridors, landscaped buffers, and orientation for solar access strengthen ecological responsiveness, while the reserves and movement network provide permeability and connections to the wider Jacks Point trail system.
