Cultural Engagement
Design Rooted in Place and Identity
For us, cultural engagement isn't a final check box—it’s the foundation of our design process. We believe that authentic architecture begins by listening to the histories, narratives, and aspirations of tangata whenua.

Guided by the Te Aranga Māori Design Principles, we work collaboratively with iwi, hapū, and specialist consultants to ensure Mana Whenua values are deeply embedded into the DNA of our designs. Whether we are masterplanning a new community or designing medium-density housing, our process translates these rich cultural narratives into meaningful built environments—honoring whakapapa, restoring the natural landscape, and integrating indigenous creative expression.
